H تلوار तलवार talwār [S. तरवारिः], s.f. A sword (=tarwār):—talwār bajnā, v.n. Sword to resound; to be busy with (one's) sword:—talwār ćalānā, v.n. To brandish a sword; to use a sword; to strike with the sword:—talwār ćalnā or ćal-rahnā, v.n. Swords to be busy, to be fighting with swords:—talwār sūṅtnā, talwār khaiṅćnā, v.n. To unsheathe or draw the sword:—talwār-kā ghāʼo, s.m. A sword-cut, sword-wound:—talwār-kī āṅć, s.f. The flash of a sword:—talwār mārnā, v.t. To strike or cut with a sword, to use a sword:—talwār miyān karnā, v.n. To sheathe the sword:—talwāroṅ-kī ćhāṅ-meṅ, adv. 'Under the shadow of swords'; well-guarded.
