تراشنا tarāshnā from tarāsh

H تراشنا tarāshnā (from tarāsh), v.t. To cut, hew, pare, clip, prune; to cut out, carve, shape, form, fashion; to shave (the beard, &c.):—apne taʼīṅ tarāshnā, To make oneself spruce, (vulg.) to come out a swell; to value or esteem oneself above others:—tarāsh-ḍālnā, v.t. (intens. of tarāshnā), To cut up, to pare off, pare away, &c. (=ćhīl-ḍālnā).
