A ترکيب tarkīb [inf. n. ii of رکب 'to overlie,' &c.], s.f. Putting together, combining, mixing; setting (a stone); composition; compound; mixture; construction, structure, make, mechanism; form, fashion, mode, method, arrangement; means, plan, contrivance:—tarkīb batānā (kī), To exhibit the structure (of a clause or sentence), to coustrue, to analyse:—tarkīb-band, s.m. A particular kind of metrical composition; a stanza:—tarkīb-dār, adj. Well-formed, symmetrical:—tarkīb denā (-ko), To give form or shape (to), to form, fashion; to make, construct, organize:—tarkīb-se, adv. In due proportion; in proper form, or measure, &c.; economically; carefully:—kisī tarkīb-se, adv. By some means, somehow:—tarkīb karnā (-kī), To construct, frame, organize; to construe, &c. (=tarkīb batānā).
