P تسمه tasma, s.m. A thong; a strap of leather; a leathern belt; stirrup-leather:—tasma-bāzī s.f. A low gambling game played with a leathern strap and a stick:—tasma-kash, s.m. A strangler; a mute:—tasma-khaiṅćnā (-kā, and -par), To tighten a strap, &c.; to strangle:—tasma lagā na rakhnā, v.n. lit. 'Not to leave a piece of skin attached'; to sever completely, cut in two, to kill outright; to produce complete separation or estrangement (between two persons).
