تسويد taswīd

A تسويد taswīd [inf. n. ii of سود; prob. a denom. from sawād], s.f. Making black, blackening; first draught, original copy, rough draft (of a letter, &c.); sketch, plan, delineation.

A تصوير taṣwīr [inf. n. ii of صور 'to form,' &c.], s.f. Picture; drawing; sketch; painting; portrait; an image:—taṣwīr banānā (-kī), To make a drawing, or picture, &c.
