H ٿهور ठौर ṭhaur, ठोर ṭhor [S. स्थावरं], s.f. Fixed spot, place, spot, locality, room, residence;—adv. Fixed, stationary, still, on the spot:—ṭhaur be-ṭhaur, adv. In any place indiscriminately; in a vital part; out of place:—ṭhaur-ṭhaur, adv. In many places; in various places; in certain parts:—ṭhaur rahnā, v.n. To remain fixed or stationary, to stand still, to stay, remain; to remain or lie still or lifeless, to be knocked down dead on the spot, to be killed or murdered:—ku-ṭhaur, s.f. 'A bad place'; a tender spot or part (of the body).
