آلتا आलता āltā

H آلتا आलता āltā, = H التا अलता altā, [S. अलक्त+कः], s.m. Lac-dye; Cotton strongly impregnated with lac-dye, ready to be used for dyeing (used by Hindū women for staining their feet red).
