H وا वा wā [Prk. एव; S. इयत् (Vedic. ईवत्)], pron. (Braj) He, &c. (i.q. wah, q.v.);—him, &c. (i.q. us, obl. or format. sing. of wah):—wā-te, wā-teṅ, or wā-taiṅ, or wā-su, wā-soṅ, wā-sauṅ, or wā-se = us-se:—wā-ko, wā-kau, or wā-kā (f. -kī; obl. -ke) = us-kā:—wā-kauṅ, or wā-ko = us-ko:—wā-māṅhiṅ, wā-māṅhīṅ, or wā-mah = us-meṅ:—wā-ne = us-ne:—wā-hi, or wā-hī = us-e.

وا wā

A وا wā, intj. (expressive of pain) Oh! ah! alas! alas for!:—wā-wailā, intj. Ah! alas! (i.q. wā);—s.m. Weeping and wailing, lamentation, bewailing:—wā-wailā karnā, or wā-wailā maćānā, v.n. To utter lamentation, to weep and wail, to lament, bewail;—to cry out, raise an outcry, to make a noise.
