A وحيد waḥīd (v.n. fr. وحد 'to be single, or alone,' &c.), adj. Alone, unique, single, singular;—sole, separated;—s.m. Sole one; unique one, incomparable one:—waḥīd-ě-dahr, s.m. Phœnix of the age:—waḥīduʼl-ʻaṣr, s.m. The nonpareil of the age.
