aalam-e-wahshat-e-tanhai hai kuchh aur nahin

wada hai ki jab roz-e-jaza aaega

meri duniya mein abhi raqs-e-sharar hota hai

fareb gham hi sahi dil ne aarzu kar li

humse kya KHak ke zarron hi se puchha hota

ek sauda hai lazzat-e-gham hai

jo shab bhar aansuon se tar rahega

rang-e-mahfil hai kahan subh-e-bahaaran ki tarah

aise bhi kahan milenge dil-ju

kisi ki anjuman-e-naz mein hua ruswa

aaj rang bhi lai dil ki bazm-arai

hamein to lala-o-gul ab bhi sogwar mile

kahte hain ki maiKHane mein mai aam kahan hai

dahr mein phirta hai jun baad-e-saba mastana
