Profile of Fatima Zehra Jabeen
Fatima Zehra Jabeen is a contemporary Urdu poet, translator, and curator of literary expression. Her work reflects a deep engagement with poetry, translation, and the promotion of Urdu literature across diverse cultural spaces.
Her literary contributions span multiple genres, including ghazal, nazm, haiku, and naat. Her published books include Khushboo Jesa Dil (Haiku), Fughan-e-Shab (Ghazaliat), Thankan Gazidah Aasmaan (Nazmain), and Khushboo Hi Khushboo (Haiku). Her book Sar Zameen-e-Anbiya is also forthcoming in English as The Land of Prophets.
Her upcoming publications include Fasana Hai Dar-o-Baam (Ghazaliat) and a naat collection titled Seerat-e-Ishq-e-Rasool.
Fatima Zehra Jabeen serves as the Chairperson of Dabistan Canada, where she actively contributes as a literary host and curator, playing a significant role in promoting Urdu literary culture internationally.
