Profile of Javed Nehal Hashmi
Jawed Nehal Hashami is a contemporary Urdu fiction writer, humorist, playwright, and literary organizer. He is known for his short stories, satirical writings, and essays that explore contemporary society, human psychology, and changing social values with clarity and intellectual depth.
Born on 17 March 1967 in Kankinara, West Bengal, Hashami studied Zoology at the University of Calcutta before earning qualifications in English, Education, and Software Technology. Alongside his career in teaching, he has remained actively involved in literary writing and cultural activities.
