Dr. Muhiuddin Ghazi is a prominent Indian Islamic scholar, researcher, author, and journalist. He comes from a distinguished scholarly and religious family and is the son of the renowned Qur’anic exegete Maulana Inayatullah Asad Subhani. His intellectual and academic activities have been centred in the United Arab Emirates, Kerala, and Delhi. He was associated with Dar al-Shariah, Dubai, for a long period as Head of Research. He also served as Dean of the Faculty of Qur’an at the Islamic University, Shantapuram.

He has published 126 instalments reviewing Urdu translations of the Qur’an in Al-Shariah magazine. He is the editor of the well-known Delhi-based monthly Zindagi-e-Nau and has contributed scholarly and research articles to various intellectual and academic journals. His published works include Rahnama-e-Tarjuma-e-Qur’an, Namaz Ke Ikhtilafaat Aur Unka Aasan Hal, Muslim Khawateen Aur Activism Ki Rahen, and Tehreek Se Mohabbat. Among his notable translations is Islami Tamaddun Mein Aaini Buhran.

He currently serves as a member of the Central Majlis-e-Shura and Central Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, as well as Secretary of its Tasneefi Academy.
