sunā hai ġhair kī mahfil meñ tum na jāoge
kaho to aaj sajā luuñ ġharīb-ḳhāne ko
suna hai ghair ki mahfil mein tum na jaoge
kaho to aaj saja lun gharib-KHane ko
zabt kartā huuñ to ghuTtā hai qafas meñ mirā dam
aah kartā huuñ to sayyād ḳhafā hotā hai
