Profile of S Masood Siraj
Dr. S. Masood Siraj, with over 40 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, served as the Head of the Department of Post-Graduate Studies in Urdu at the University of Mysore for 23 years. He played a pivotal role in enhancing the department's reputation. He has guided over 50 Ph.D. and M.Phil. candidates and contributed extensively to curriculum development. Masood Siraj, known for his significant contributions to Urdu literature has also been involved in various academic bodies, chaired numerous sessions at national and international conferences, and authored several books and research papers.
