kiya kalim ko arman-e-did ne ruswa

baḌe pate kī batā.ūñ baḌe maze kī kahūñ

jo aap mujh pe kareñ e.atibār thoḌā sā

baDe pate ki bataun baDe maze ki kahun

jo aap mujh pe karen eatibar thoDa sa

aise ruThe ki mulaqat nahin hoti hai

ab teri mohabbat mein jo bimar hai bimar

zindagi maut ko de mat ye na-mumkin hai

tere bimar-e-gham ki soz-o-samani nahin jati

tumhaare zulm ki sare jahan tak baat ja pahunchi
