Muqaddama Ruqa'at-e-Alamgir
An introduction and detailed commentary on the letters and correspondence of His Majesty Sultan-ul-Hind, in which the history of the art of composition (insha) and royal correspondence in Islam, the state of the department of insha in India, principles of insha, and a special discussion on Alamgir's insha are covered. It critically examines the sources of his history and all events and biographies from Alamgir's birth to the fratricidal wars through the light of his own letters and documents.
