Real Name : Tauqir Ahmad khan
Born : 06 Oct 1951 | Moradabad, Uttar pradesh
Tauqir Ahmad Khan is regarded as a well-known scholar of Iqbal studies. He was born on 6 October 1951 in Hasanpur, formerly in Moradabad district and now in Amroha district. He has been associated with the teaching profession since the beginning of his career. On 2 February 2000, he joined the Department of Urdu at the University of Delhi as an Assistant Professor. In 2009, he became a Professor, and in 2011, he was appointed Head of the Department of Urdu. From 2012 to 2015, he was nominated by the President of India as a Visitor's Nominee to the Selection Committees for Urdu and other subjects at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. His important and popular books include Iqbal Ki Shayari Mein Paikar Tarashi, Shairiyat-e-Bal-e-Jibreel, Mere Iqbal, Safarnama Muqaddas Hijaz, Farsi Sabaq Amoz (translation), Tareekh-e-Hasanpur, and Iqbal Aur Hindustan.
