Jurat was blind. One day while immersed in thoughts of poetry Insha came and asked 'where are you lost?' Jurat responded by saying, 'Nothing, I have a line but can't think of the other to complete the couplet'. Insha nudged him by saying, 'tell me as well, perhaps I can help, please!' Jurat, irrtiatingly replied, 'No, you'll plunder the line and make a couplet of you own'. Insha somehow convinced him by insisting again and again, and thus, Jurat recited the first line, 'Us Zulf pe Phabti shab-e-dijur ki sujhi', to which Insha at once retorted, 'Andhe ko andhere mein baDii duur ki sujhi'!
