آج وہ بار بار یاد آیا
اور بے اختیار یاد آیا
جس کے دم سے تھی رونق ہستی
وہ دل بے قرار یاد آیا
پھر ہوئی گدگدی سی تلووں میں
پھر مجھے خار زار یاد آیا
جب بھی عزم حرم کیا میں نے
آپ کا رہ گزار یاد آیا
ابر باراں کو دیکھ کر اپنا
دیدۂ اشک بار یاد آیا
راز دل میں چھپا رہا تھا مگر
دامن تار تار یاد آیا
