آپ شیشے کا گر مکاں رکھئے
کچھ تو مضبوط سائباں رکھئے
تنکا تنکا بکھر نہ جائے کہیں
آندھیوں میں نہ آشیاں رکھئے
لمحہ لمحہ عذاب جاں ہوگا
درد دل میں نہ یوں نہاں رکھئے
صرف اپنا ہی غم نہیں سب کچھ
کچھ خیال غم جہاں رکھئے
حق ادا کیجیے صداقت کا
آپ منہ میں اگر زباں رکھئے
لوگ برسوں کریں گے یاد مجیدؔ
لفظ میں درد بے کراں رکھئے
