अब्र-ए-बहाराँ दुश्मन अपना
अब्र-ए-बहाराँ दुश्मन अपना
फूल से ख़ाली आँगन अपना
लाख बचाएँ गुल-चीनों से
ज़द में है इस की गुलशन अपना
हिर्स-ओ-हवा से मक्र-ओ-रिया से
पाक है अब तक दामन अपना
हरियाली की जोत जगाए
बरखा-रुत में ख़िरमन अपना
ममता का हर ज़िक्र हिण्डोला
झूल रहा है बचपन अपना
अहल-ए-वफ़ा पे क्या बीती है
बोल रहा है दर्पन अपना
वक़्त 'जमील' आया है ऐसा
बोझ बना है जीवन अपना
