اگر مجبور ہفت افلاک ہوتا
ہماری طرح تو بھی خاک ہوتا
زمیں تاریک رہتی اور سورج
ہمارے جسم کی پوشاک ہوتا
کہیں اس داستاں اور خواب کے بیچ
ترا ملبوس گل بھی چاک ہوتا
ہم اپنا فائدہ بھی سوچ لیتے
اگر نقصان کا ادراک ہوتا
ذرا موسم بدلتا اور پھر تو
ہمارے ہجر میں نمناک ہوتا
