اپنی مٹی سے یوں جڑے ہوئے ہیں
چل رہے ہیں مگر رکے ہوئے ہیں
دائروں میں سفر کیا ہم نے
ہم جہاں تھے وہیں کھڑے ہوئے ہیں
خود کو انمول کہنے والے ہم
ایک پل کے عوض بکے ہوئے ہیں
جھوٹی امید مت دلاؤ ہمیں
ان وفاؤں کے ہم ڈسے ہوئے ہیں
تم جہاں چھوڑ کر گئے تھے ہمیں
ہم اسی موڑ پر کھڑے ہوئے ہیں
