دیکھے پاگل ہوتے خواب
تیری آنکھ میں رہتے ہم
یار اگر ہم ہوتے خواب
جانے اب کس حال میں ہوں
چھوڑ آئے تھے روتے خواب
تعبیروں سے عاری تھے
کیسے کامل ہوتے خواب
مسکاتی آنکھوں میں اکثر
دیکھے ہم نے روتے خواب
کچھ نہ کچھ مل جاتا پھل
کاش زمیں میں بوتے خواب
افضلؔ اتنا شور نہ کر
جاگ نہ جائیں سوتے خواب
