بول دیتی ہے بے زبانی بھی
خاموشی کے کئی معانی بھی
وقت بے وقت ہی نکل آئے
ہے عجب آنکھ کا یہ پانی بھی
وہ سبب ہے میری اداسی کا
اس سے ہے دوستی پرانی بھی
وہ مراسم بڑھا کے چھوڑ گیا
درد ہوتا ہے جاودانی بھی
آج پھر قیس کو ہی مرنا پڑا
ہو گئی ختم یہ کہانی بھی
