چاہتا ہے کوئی اگر اڑنا
تو ضروری ہے اس کا ڈر اڑنا
بھیڑ بھاری ہے ساری سڑکوں پر
سیکھ لیں شہر میں بشر اڑنا
یہ تو عادت نہیں پرندوں کی
دن میں آرام رات بھر اڑنا
میری کھڑکی سے تم نظر آؤ
جب بھی اڑنا یہ سوچ کر اڑنا
آب و دانے کی فکر کر پیارے
چھوڑ دے یہ ادھر ادھر اڑنا
