ایک خوشبو دل و جاں سے آئی
اک مہک زخم زباں سے آئی
دشت بے آب کی مانند تھا میں
یہ نئی موج کہاں سے آئی
سرد تھی موت کی مانند حیات
آنچ سی شعلۂ جاں سے آئی
اتنی رونق سر بازار وفا
میرے سودائے زیاں سے آئی
کتنی تاریک تھیں راتیں میری
روشنی کس کے مکاں سے آئی
عشق کی دولت بیدار سلیمؔ
حسن پر حسن گماں سے آئی
