غم ہی میرے لئے وہ لایا تو
دشمنوں کو معاف کر ڈالا
دوستوں سے فریب کھایا تو
پیڑ کے گھونسلوں کا کیا ہوگا
گھر اسے کاٹ کر بنایا تو
پھر مرے سامنے تھی اک دیوار
ایک دیوار کو گرایا تو
کس قدر زور سے ہوئی بارش
میں نے کاغذ کا گھر بنایا تو
کیا کرو گے نعیمؔ سال نو
پیش رو کی طرح ہی آیا تو
