غم کو خود پر سوار مت کرنا
زخم کو اشتہار مت کرنا
ایک حد میں رہو تو اچھا ہے
حد کی دیوار پار مت کرنا
اپنی پرواز بھول جاؤ گے
غیر پر انحصار مت کرنا
سر اٹھانا محال ہو جائے
خود کو یوں زیر بار مت کرنا
وقت کب انتظار کرتا ہے
وقت کا انتظار مت کرنا
بات کرنا تو سامنے کرنا
پیٹھ پیچھے سے وار مت کرنا
حوصلے سے سہارنا غم کو
درد کو بے وقار مت کرنا
چاہتوں کے حساب میں انورؔ
ایک پل بھی ادھار مت کرنا
