گنوا کر آن کچھ پایا تو کیا ہے
خودی کا گیت اب گایا تو کیا ہے
کچھ ایسی آندھیاں دل میں چلی ہیں
وہ اس طوفاں میں گھبرایا تو کیا ہے
تنی ہے آسماں پہ کالی چادر
دیا اک روشنی لایا تو کیا ہے
عذاب آخرت کا خوف لے کر
کسی کے کام جو آیا تو کیا ہے
محبت در دریچوں سے ورا ہے
زمیں پر ہو رہے سایا تو کیا ہے
نوا پیرا چمن میں بلبلیں ہیں
خزاں کا رنگ اگر چھایا تو کیا ہے
