tū ne yuuñ bhī to chhoḌ jaanā thā
tum ne sab kuchh hī le liyā hai nayā
apnā rishta bhī to purānā thā
maiñ bhalā chīḳh kar bhī kyā kartā
tum ko to faisla sunānā thā
sach phir ik baar chaḌh gayā suulī
jhuuT ke saath phir zamāna thā
terī merī barābarī thī kahāñ
tum ko yuuñ bhī to jiit jaanā thā
chāñdnī se rahā vahī mahrūm
jo yahāñ chāñd kā divāna thā
ab tū baiThā hai yaar kyoñ rone
dil zarā soch ke lagānā thā

jo yahan chand ka diwana tha
ab tu baiTha hai yar kyon rone
dil zara soch ke lagana tha
