ادھر باتیں چھپانے لگ گیا ہے
ادھر باتیں چھپانے لگ گیا ہے
وہ کچھ کچھ دور جانے لگ گیا ہے
اکیلے میں ہنسانے لگ گیا ہے
بہت ہی یاد آنے لگ گیا ہے
صبح دن شام راتیں جی اٹھی ہے
کہ وہ قصے سنانے لگ گیا ہے
اداسی اس کی خنجر سی چبھے ہے
مجھے کچھ یوں ستانے لگ گیا ہے
اٹک جاتا ہے جب بھی بولتا ہے
بہانے جو بنانے لگ گیا ہے
