दिल पे इक घाव का समय आया
जब न हासिल हुआ चढ़ाव पे कुछ
अब तो उतराव का समय आया
अब भला क्या समेटेंगे तुझ को
ख़ुद के बिखराव का समय आया
रात गुज़री ब-ख़ैर सुब्ह हुई
तुम से अलगाव का समय आया
नफ़रतें मिट गईं दिलों से सब
फिर से अब चाव का समय आया
कितने बेड़े थे ग़र्क़-ए-आब हुए
तब कहीं नाव का समय आया
अब 'तमन्ना' ज़रा हँसा कीजे
अब तो बदलाव का समय आया
