جب وہ عالی دماغ ہنستا ہے
جب وہ عالی دماغ ہنستا ہے
غنچہ کھلتا ہے باغ ہنستا ہے
ہاتھ میں دیکھ کر ترے مرہم
میرے سینے کا داغ ہنستا ہے
کیا ہوا پھر گئی ہے گلشن کی
صوت بلبل کو زاغ ہنستا ہے
شمع ہر شام تیرے رونے پر
صبح دم تک چراغ ہنستا ہے
شیخ کی دیکھ صورت تقویٰ
آج حاتمؔ ایاغ ہنستا ہے
