جہاں پر اہل دل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
رویے معتدل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
بہت رکھتے ہیں آوارہ دلوں کو
یہ جذبے پا بہ گل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
فلک پر اڑنے والے بادلوں کے
ٹھکانے مستقل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
ہو بے شک مشترک دیوار لیکن
مقدر متصل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
دل درد آشنا ہوتا ہے جن میں
وہ سینے مضمحل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
سنبھالو خود ہی اپنے رت جگوں کو
یہ ورثے منتقل ہوتے نہیں ہیں
