کہیں پیار کا کوئی رشتہ تو ہوگا
کسی کو کبھی تم نے چاہا تو ہوگا
ہواؤں میں اڑنا بھی آساں نہیں ہے
پرندہ کہیں تھک کے بیٹھا تو ہوگا
بہت ہی خفا ہے پر اس نے کسی سے
جھجھک کر مرا حال پوچھا تو ہوگا
مساجد منادر تڑپتی یہ لاشیں
خدا نے یہ منظر بھی دیکھا تو ہوگا
