زندگی امتحان میں گزری
بند تھے جس کے سارے دروازے
عمر ایسے مکان میں گزری
تجھ کو بھی ہے خبر جہاں والے
ہم پہ کیا اس جہان میں گزری
ذکر آیا تھا اس کا محفل میں
شب پھر اس کے ہی دھیان میں گزری
غم دوراں میں بھی حیات اپنی
عزم کے سائبان میں گزری
