خار رستے میں میرے بوتے ہو
ہار غیروں کے تم پروتے ہو
چاند جلوے چرا نہ لے جائے
آپ کیوں بے خبر سے سوتے ہو
جان تو آپ ہی ہو جان مری
دور کب ہو قریب ہوتے ہو
کیا کمی ہے ہماری چاہت میں
کوچہ کوچہ ذلیل ہوتے ہو
دل کو میرے سکون ملتا ہے
آپ جب زار زار روتے ہو
