لوگ غم سے ڈرتے ہیں میں خوشی سے ڈرتا ہوں
لوگ غم سے ڈرتے ہیں میں خوشی سے ڈرتا ہوں
تیرگی سے کیا ڈرنا روشنی سے ڈرتا ہوں
میں نکل پڑا گھر سے اب سفر میں جو بیتے
آگے چلتے رہنا ہے واپسی سے ڈرتا ہوں
یہ بھی جانور سارے وہ بھی جانور سارے
جانے کیسی بستی ہے آدمی سے ڈرتا ہوں
رہزن خلوص جاں رہزن مسرت ہے
رہنمائی علم و آگہی سے ڈرتا ہوں
سر اٹھا کے جینے کی لذتوں سے واقف ہوں
سر اٹھا کے جینے کی بے حسی سے ڈرتا ہوں
