میں دیا بن گیا تو بھی باتی رہے
زندگی دونوں کی جگمگاتی رہے
اک وہ آنکھیں جو راہیں ہماری تکیں
اک وہ آواز ہم کو بلاتی رہے
میں بھی تصویر سادہ بناتا رہوں
دن بہ دن تو حسیں ہوتی جاتی رہے
چاند تارے ندی پھول شاخیں دھنک
کیسے کیسے مناظر وہ لاتی رہے
شادؔ ہوتا رہے گوشۂ دل مرا
اک اداسی مرے گھر میں گاتی رہے
