मशक़्क़तों का हवाला नहीं उतरता है
मशक़्क़तों का हवाला नहीं उतरता है
हमारे हाथ से छाला नहीं उतरता है
उतारे जाते हैं आँखों में ऐसे ऐसे अज़ाब
गले से एक निवाला नहीं उतरता है
वो माहताब है जिस दिन से क़ैद कमरे में
हमारी छत पे उजाला नहीं उतरता है
हमारे हाल पे ना-बीना लोग रोने लगे
बस उस की आँख का जाला नहीं उतरता है
मैं जब से भाइयों के पीछे पीछे चलने लगा
किसी की पीठ पे भाला नहीं उतरता है
ज़मीं पे रोज़ उतरती हैं आफ़तें 'दानिश'
मगर उतारने वाला नहीं उतरता है
