نہ میں اس کا نہ وہ میرا ہوا ہے
چلو جو بھی ہوا اچھا ہوا ہے
گرا دوں اپنے پتے کس طرح میں
وہ میری چھاؤں میں بیٹھا ہوا ہے
چلو پڑھتے ہیں اس پتھر کو چل کر
سنا ہے اس پہ سچ لکھا ہوا ہے
گھنا ویران اور خاموش جنگل
مرے اطراف میں پھیلا ہوا ہے
ادھر اس پار جانا چاہتا ہوں
مگر دریا کا پل ٹوٹا ہوا ہے
