پاؤں پتوں پہ دھیرے سے دھرتا ہوا
پاؤں پتوں پہ دھیرے سے دھرتا ہوا
وہ گزر جائے گا یوں ہی ڈرتا ہوا
بوجھ سورج کا سر پر اٹھانے کو ہے
ایک سایہ ندی میں اترتا ہوا
شام ساحل پہ گم صم سی بیٹھی ہوئی
اور دریا میں سونا بکھرتا ہوا
تیرے آنے کی اس کو خبر کس نے دی
ایک آشفتہ سر ہے سنورتا ہوا
دیکھتا رہ گیا اپنی پرچھائیاں
وقت گزرا ہے کتنا ٹھہرتا ہوا
