پرستش کے لائق صنم چاہتے ہیں
وہ کافر حسیں جس کو ہم چاہتے ہیں
ہمیں مت ستاؤ جفاؤں سے اپنی
حسینو یہ تم سے کرم چاہتے ہیں
کہیں لطف پیہم کہیں بے رخی سی
مکرر ہم ایسا ستم چاہتے ہیں
بھری بزم میں ہم توجہ طلب ہیں
محبت کا اپنی بھرم چاہتے ہیں
ہمیں چاہئے چشم مست ان کی اخترؔ
یہ کس نے کہا جام جم چاہتے ہیں
