رات چوپال اور الاؤ میاں
اب کہاں گاؤں کا سبھاؤ میاں
شعر کہنا تو خیر مشکل ہے
شعر پڑھنا ہی سیکھ جاؤ میاں
درس و تدریس جب کہ منصب ہے
کچھ پڑھو اور کچھ پڑھاؤ میاں
یہ جو پھیلی تو تم بھی جھلسو گے
آگ کا کھیل مت رچاؤ میاں
یہ سفر درد کا ہے رستے میں
کیسا رکنا کہاں پڑاؤ میاں
