جو بھی اس شخص کا تھا میرا تھا
تجھ کو کیا لینا دینا ہے واعظ
وہ صنم تھا خدا تھا میرا تھا
اس کا تھا جو لٹا دیا اس نے
اس میں جو کچھ بچا تھا میرا تھا
حملہ آور مرا تھا پیٹھ مری
پیٹھ میں جو چھرا تھا میرا تھا
کاش وہ اپنی جاں چھڑا لیتا
میرا جو مسئلہ تھا میرا تھا
کیوں کریں لوگ طنز غازیؔ پر
وہ برا تھا بھلا تھا میرا تھا
