شکن اندر شکن یاد آ گیا ہے
وصال تشنہ تن یاد آ گیا ہے
یہ دشت آرزو کی بے پناہی
گھنے سپنوں کا بن یاد آ گیا ہے
مرے رستے میں چٹانیں بہت ہیں
مجھے اب کوہ کن یاد آ گیا ہے
چراغ عریاں تن کو بھی بالآخر
ہوا کا پیرہن یاد آ گیا ہے
برستی جا رہیں بے تحاشا
ان آنکھوں کو وطن یاد آ گیا ہے
یہ کیسا خواب ہے آنکھوں میں بشریٰؔ
یہ کیا دیوانہ پن یاد آ گیا ہے
