سو حشر میں لیے دل حسرت مآب میں
آباد ہو رہا ہوں جہان خراب میں
ہم اپنی بے قراری دل سے ہیں بے قرار
آمیزش سکوں ہے اس اضطراب میں
اب سیر گل کہاں، دل رنگیں نظر کہاں
اک خواب تھا جو دیکھ لیا تھا شباب میں
بڑھ بڑھ کے چھپ رہے ہیں پس پردہ بار بار
کیا کیا تکلفات ہیں ترک حجاب میں
احسنؔ دل ان کو دو مگر اتنا تو پوچھ لو
لیتے ہو تم یہ نقد رقم کس حساب میں
