وصف رکھا ہے وہ قلندر کا
جو مٹا دے لکھا مقدر کا
سنگ دل کے جواب میں مجھ کو
دل بنانا پڑا ہے پتھر کا
عمر بھر تشنہ کام رہنا ہے
پانی کھارا ہے جب سمندر کا
ان سے مل کر یہ انکشاف ہوا
آنکھ کرتی ہے کام خنجر کا
شمسیؔ دنیا پہ حکمرانی کو
حوصلہ چاہئے سکندر کا
